ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure assets are maintained in a ‘Safe to operate’ condition at all times while promoting all aspects of safe working practices to meet all safety and housekeeping objectives of the plant.
To optimise the Diaper Manufacturing process through the design of new electrical/electronic process control systems together with optimisationimaintenance of existing process control systems in order to achieve optimum plant and process reliability.
To plan, organise and control Electrical Projects.
Identify issues and opportunities for improvement through modifications and upgrades.

COMPETENCIES
Above average computer literacy is required.
Excellent PLC programming and drives skills (Siemens/Allan Bradley/Rockwell)
Excellent project manaqernent skills.

QUALIFICATION
Minimum of a BSc Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering orequivalent tertiary education.
Minimum of 5 years previous engineering and maintenance experience in FMCG environment

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure assets are maintained in a ‘Safe to operate’ condition at all times while promoting all aspects of safe working practices to meet all safety and housekeeping objectives of the plant.
To optimise the Diaper Manufacturing process through the design of new mechanical process systems together with optimisation/maintenance of existing process systems in order to achieve optimum plant and process reliability.
To plan, organise and control Mechanical Proiects.
Identify issues and opportunities for improvement through modifications and upgrades.

COMPETENCIES
Above average computer literacy is required.
Prior experience working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) would be an advantage
Previous knowledge of Diaper manufacturing machines would be an advantage

QUALIFICATION
Minimum of a BSc.Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering orequivalent tertiary education
Minimum of 5 years previous engineering and maintenance experience in FMCG environment

ENGINEERING MANAGER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure assets are maintained in a ‘Safe to operate” condition at all times while promoting all aspects of sale working practices to meet all safety and housekeeping objectives of the plant. Ensure that all relevant statutory and legal requirements are adhered to.
Develop and execute a world class maintenance strategy for the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and Civil’s, within the plant maintenance teams.
Develop and implement best practice management, encompassing lean methodology in the areas of, Capex, preventive maintenance and project management excellence in the area of systems and processes.
Lead, plan and execute plant efficiency and plant capacity and improvement modification projects.

COMPETENCIES
Above average computer literacy is required.
Prior experience worlling with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) would be an advantage

QUALIFICATION
Minimum of a BSc Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent tertiary education.

QUALITY MANAGER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the EWMA system within the BCC operations environment. Provide daily reporting on EWMA data.
Manage diaper laboratory environment.
Conduct regular testing of products.
Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 requrements

P&TD
Lead producl qualification process
Co-ordinate marketing and operations activities with regards to new product and packaging development.
Set and lead trial schedules, trial requests, trial plans, testing, and trial reports.

QUALIFICATION
BSC degree in Quality Assurance Management or a Statistics qualification with a minimum of five years experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment. Computer literacy, SAPIR3 knowledge and experience will be an advantage.

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Overseeing the produclion process, drawing up a production schedule;
Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
Working out the human and material resources needed;
Estimating costs and setting the qualily standards;
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes;
Liaising among different departments, e.g. Quality, Engineering
Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
Supervising and motivating a team of workers
Coaching team members

QUALIFICATION
Minimum of a B.Sc.lHND in either electrical, mechanical engineering or operations management.
Minimum of 10 years experience on high speed manufacturing equipment of which at least 5 years must be at a Managerial level.
Previous knowledge of Diaper machines will be a clear advantage.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT PRACTITIONER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a dedicated one stop learning and development service to respective department/so
Facilitate and assist with the CDR process for operational employees.
Conduct a GAP analysis based on CDR outcome. fulfilling Learning and development needs.
Developing and updating learning material and ensure all documentation are in line with the current best practice
Conduct competency assessments of existing operational employees on a bi-annual basis.

COMPETENCIES

High standard of facilitation, training and presentation skills
Leadership and mentoring skills

QUALIFICATION
BSc/HND in Science or Engineering
5 years working experience in manufacturing industry
Membership of NITAD will be an added advantage

EHS COORDINATOR

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety: Ensure that the provisions and Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&SA) are complied with on site by employees and contractors.
Ensure Risk Management systems are implemented and reviewed to meet KC’s and Regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance to Safety Management Systems on site
Health: Ensure that occupational hygiene and health requirements are upheld by all employees and contractors alike
Environment: Ensure employees and contractors adhere to KC Environmental policies and procedures.

COMPETENCIES

Good planning and documentation skills

QUALIFICATION
Minimum five years relevant experience in FMCG EHS environment
Possession of a NEBOSH diploma will be an advantage
Practical and working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Safety and Risk Management Principles, Contractor Management

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs plant information team to provide on time information and analysis to the operations, management and teams.
Initiates and participates in strategic discussions and initiatives as part of the FMT.
Ensures all SAP MIS related transactions are completed as per regular and periodic financial and reporting deadlines.
Maintains all information production systems and ensures high level of accuracy and availability.
Manages the logistics function at the Lagos facility, ensuring at all times correct inventory management. handling and security principles are adhered to.

QUALIFICATION
Minimum degree or equivalent degrees. preferably in a logistics or engineering discipline. Other business oriented qualifications will be considered if combined with extensive manufacturing supply chain management experience.
Minimum 10 years in a manufacturing environment in supply chain, logistics and inventory management, with 5 years at a team or functional leadership level.
