KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PURPOSE 

•To enable and drive a performance culture in the sales team within Safmarine.
•Perform market analysis that will be used to cordinate and manage the Safmarine Business Model.
•Monitor and provide visibility on perfomance with regards to key areas of focus eg Brand Delivery, Market share, Revenue, D/D, costs etc
•Translate Trade and Marketing reports into information and plans that are beneficial for business growth.
•Interprete and entrench the Safmarine Way with dual branded functions.
•Enable and drive targeted Customer experience in service delivery.
•Monitor and recommend improvement for cluster efficiency and productivity targets
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 
•Monitor the consistency of Thinking, Being and Living Orange across the Cluster.
•Manage and cascade the budget/ target setting to all relevant levels.
•Ensure alignment around objectives and performance assessments.
•Provide visual managemnet system on areas of focus in order to drive the right behaviour and changes.
•Ensure Safmarine data intergrity in all legacy systems and applications.
•Be accountable for customer service delivery in the Cluster
•Propose initiative of how to strengthen the perception of our brand awareness and brand value.
•Manage Customer satisfaction survey and related communications on behalf of the Cluster.
•Work with improvement projects that drives us towards being a Lean and Fit organisation/cluster.
•Monitor the perfomance of outsourced/offshored processes.
•Initiate and cordinate periodic Risk Assessment analysis of back office functions. Eg cargo release.
•Ensure continous update and manitenance of Safmarine intranet/internet for the Cluster.
•Manage internal and external giveaways for our Brand.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
•Minimum 3 years work experience in a Sales, Business Development, Marketing or a commercial role. Shipping related experience will be an added advantage
•Performance driven with knowledge of sales processes
•Have a good knowledge about market, competitor and industry trends.
•Systems management/efficiency
•Ensure Cross functional communication and understanding
•Quantitative/statistical analysis and methods with abilitity to visualise trends,gaps and present recommendations and actions plans.
•Six Sigma/Process Excellence Mindset
•Strong results orientation
•Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
•Strong MS Office skills especially Excel.
